Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel popularly known by his stage name Mayorkun, was born on 23 March 1993 in Osun State, Nigeria. He is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and pianist, who was discovered by the DMW Boss Davido on Twitter, after he did the cover of his "The Money" hit song. He was to the Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) and he dropped his debut single "Eleko" under the Record Label.
Mayorkun decided to leave his bank job after he was spotted by Davido, he then started his music career under the Nigerian Global musician and the DMW Boss, Davido, with his Record Label, when he released his hit single "Eleko" in 2016. The video of the song "Eleko" accumulated more than a million views in the week it was re;leased.
